Cleaning my spare room has unearthed an embarrassing number of unfinished objects (UFO’s).  For example, this pair of simple mittens, which were completely done except for the thumbs.  One slight problem?  I had lost the rest of the yarn.  (Coincidentally, another skein of Auracania, which is much more red than this photo indicates.)

Lo and behold, the yarn turned up in a big box of quilting fabric.  No idea why it was in there, but now I have new mittens.   And a second finished project for 2013!
